European Salad

This salad has proved to be the most liked at my home and amongst my friends.


An excellent combination of tomatoes, feta cheese, shallots, olive oil, red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar and made with either Boston or Romaine lettuce.

Recipe Instructions

  1. Wash several leaves of Boston or Red Leaf Lettuce
  2. Once washed and dried add to a large bowl
  3. Slice 1 fresh vine tomato
  4. Peel and chop 1 shallot
  5. Slice several pieces of feta cheese (recommend Athenos Chunk Traditional)
  6. Add the chopped shallot and feta cheese to the bowl
  7. Add 2 spoons of olive oil
  8. Add 1 spoon of red wine vinegar (optional)
  9. Add 1 spoon of balsamic vinegar
  10. Add pepper and salt to taste
  11. Mix well and then serve
